CAIR Timeline
Key dates assuming Submittal to the Board on March 1, 2006
CAIR requires states to submit SIPs to USEPA by no later than September 11, 2006. The Agency plans on submitting the CAIR rulemaking to the Board as a fast-track rulemaking under the provisions of Section 28.5 of the Act. 415 ILCS 5/28.5. The following time line provides the applicable dates based upon a submittal date (and receipt date) to the Board of March 1, 2006, and utilizing the fast-track rulemaking provisions.

Within 5 days of adopting its second notice order, the Board must transmit proposal to JCAR for its review and analysis. |
