Assisting Illinois Communities
Illinois EPA’s Information Exchange for Local Government

Overview

The Illinois Illinois EPA invites you to attend a workshop designed specifically for local governments: Assisting Illinois Communities: Illinois EPA’s Information Exchange for Local Governments. The workshops are being held at various locations across the state to inform local and county government representatives about environmental issues and the assistance Illinois EPA can provide.

Our agency offers a variety of resources that can help improve the quality of life in your community, including low-interest loan programs, redevelopment assistance for underused or abandoned properties, and pollution prevention techniques to help units of government reduce the waste generated by their services. The workshops will provide information on these resources and agency experts will be on hand to answer questions on agency programs and activities.
