1996 Annual Environmental Conditions Report
 Each
year the Illinois EPA prepares and distributes an annual environmental conditions
report to help focus attention on environmental results. The Agency's commitment
to preparing the 1996 Annual Environmental Conditions Report is discussed in
the FY97 Environmental Performance Agreement between
the Illinois EPA and Region V of the U.S. EPA.
The Agency welcomes comments and suggestions on the goals and
indicators outlined in these web pages as well as the complete environmental
conditions report and seeks a continuing dialogue with the public and interest
groups that have a stake in environmental protection. Copies of the complete
1996 Annual Environmental Conditions Report are available from the Illinois
