Pembroke Water System & Hopkins Park Water System

These two community water supplies are located in Kankakee County in northeastern Illinois. Hopkins Park is a village in Pembroke Township. Hopkins Park owns and operates a public water supply that has two water wells, serves customers in Hopkins Park and sells water to the Pembroke Water System that serves the rural township area. The Hopkins Park System is responsible for the monitoring and quality of the water and for maintaining the distribution system for Hopkins Park. The Pembroke Water System is responsible for the maintenance and monitoring of its water distribution system within the township. The Hopkins Park System serves approximately 750 urban customers and the Pembroke Water System serves approximately 700 rural customers.
