Partners for Waste Paint Solutions Has a New Partner

John Morell, right, assistant public works director for the city
of Park Ridge, and Dan Rion, IEPA coordinator for the Partners for
Waste Paint Solutions, display the sign identifying Park Ridge as
the newest member of the Waste Paint program. Morell was instrumental
in securing the agreement which will let Park Ridge residents turn
in leftover or unwanted latex paint five days a week at the new public
works facility at 400 Busse Highway. The community already collects
fluorescent bulbs and household batteries for recycling. The paint
program is expected to be underway in late December or early January. |
