Occasionally, for various reasons, you may want to contact someone directly at the Bureau of Land. In addition to using our  Bureau Organization Chart, you can choose to E-mail us from the headings below. Also our general switchboard number is (217) 524-3300.  Choose option 4 and the operator will direct your call to the appropriate person.

Citizen's Pollution Complaint form:  If you have information about an environmental spill or release, or other violation of Illinois laws or regulations, please complete this form and submit it to the Illinois EPA for investigation.

Permits:  For questions about pollution control facilities or the Bureau of land permitting process.

Leaking Underground Storage Tanks: For questions about a site under the oversight of the agency's Leaking Underground Storage Tank program

Cleanup Programs:  For questions about sites in the State Response Action Program or the Voluntary Site Remediation Program.

Federal Sites:  For questions about Federal (DoD) Facilities or Superfund sites managed by the Illinois EPA.

Waste Reduction and Compliance:  For questions about household hazardous waste collections or other issues such as compliance, manifests, haulers' permits, financial assurance and waste reports.

Brownfields Redevelopment Grant program:  For questions about the Office of Brownfields Assistance, which manages the brownfields grant program and offers technical support to communities though the services of its Brownfields Representatives.

IRID:  Cleaning up illegal open dumps throughout Illinois has become an effective program.

Used Tire Cleanup: Illinois is recognized nationally as a leader in the management of used and waste tires. Contact us for questions about used tires, including the used tire collection schedule.

Construction Debris: For questions about the Clean Construction or Demolition Debris program.

Freedom of Information Act  (FOIA): Requesting information through the Freedom of Information Act.

Regional Offices:  Some issues can return a more immediate response by contacting the regional office in your region.
