Manufacturers Rankings by Pounds Recycled
for 2012

For 2012, 77 manufacturers were assigned electronic product recycling goals. Seventy-six of those manufacturers received credit for recycling 42,682,122.59 pounds of electronic products. That exceeded the statewide recycling goal set by the Illinois Products Recycling and Reuse Act by 3,185,144.44 pounds.

Manufacturers that were assigned an Illinois recycling goal were required to submit their amounts collected by January 31, 2013. Of the 76 reporting collection results, 34 exercised the portions of the legislation that allowed adjustments for collecting in underserved counties, refurbishing products for their original intention, and donating to an educational institution.
