Leaking Underground Storage Tank (Leaking UST) Incidents Transferring to the Site Remediation
Program
An owner or operator of an UST may transfer a Leaking UST incident to the Site
Remediation Program for purposes of remediation and obtaining a No Further
Remediation Letter from the Illinois EPA. A fact sheet summarizing
the procedure for transferring a Leaking UST incident and a form to execute the
transfer can be viewed and downloaded. Note: Only the owner or operator
of the UST can request the transfer of a Leaking UST incident.
