Springfield, Ill. -- On June 8, 2000, The Illinois Environmental
Protection Agency, the Illinois State Police and the Illinois Attorney
General executed a search warrant at the Dahl property at 4663 North Main
in East Peoria. The Agencies investigated the alleged operation of an
unlicensed landfill and criminal disposal of waste.
This investigation is the culmination of a six-month investigation by
the three Agencies. Among the activities conducted was soil sampling to
determine the characteristics of any illegally disposed materials.
