Perfect Fluoride Levels Leave 385 Illinois Communities Smiling
Armington, in Tazewell County, has had a perfect record for 16
consecutive years.
Children in 185 Illinois communities served by public water
supplies had good reason to flash healthy smiles during 1997 -- the operators of those
supplies were right on the mark every month meeting optimal fluoride levels. Another 86
public water supplies earned honorable mention, missing perfect levels only once during
