Field Operations
The Field Operations Section serves as the eyes and ears of the Division
throughout the State, working with public water supply owners, officials
and operators to help suppliers provide an adequate quantity of safe drinking
water to consumers, under both normal and emergency conditions. Personnel
from FOS also work with consumers, students and other citizens to help them
understand drinking water processes and requirements in general, as well
as to respond to questions regarding a specific public water supply.
